Comcast Opens New Twin Cities Xfinity Store in St. Louis Park

Comcast today celebrated the opening of its newest Twin Cities Xfinity Store in St. Louis Park with a special ribbon cutting ceremony. Located in the vibrant Excelsior & Grand district, this interactive retail and product demonstration showroom is designed entirely around the customer experience, providing an opportunity to explore and interact directly with the latest Xfinity products and services. The St. Louis Park grand opening brings the total number of Xfinity Stores in the Twin Cities to six.

“We’re excited to be opening our newest Xfinity Store in St. Louis Park,” said Jeff Freyer, Regional Vice President, Comcast-Twin Cities. “These state-of-the-art centers are all about providing the best possible service to our customers, as well as giving all consumers a chance to explore the Xfinity Experience first-hand. We have a rich history in St. Louis Park, and we’re proud of our commitment to the community with this new Xfinity Store, our many Comcast Cares Day projects over the years, and the more than 150 Comcast employees who are based in the city.”

Members of the Twin West Chamber of Commerce also participated in today’s ribbon cutting event, including Chamber President Brad Meier. “Comcast is an important part of the Twin West Chamber of Commerce, and we congratulate them on this new service center,” said Meier. “The Excelsior & Grand area is a great location, and we extend a warm welcome to the many employees who will be serving customers from this new Xfinity Store.”

The new Comcast Xfinity Store features fully interactive touchscreen displays that allow customers to learn all that Xfinity products have to offer. Customers can try out Xfinity TV through the company’s ground-breaking X1 Platform; test drive the Twin Cities’ fastest broadband speeds with Xfinity Internet; navigate through the many specialized Xfinity apps for iOS and Android; try out the TV Everywhere online viewing experience through a computer or iPad; learn about the many features of Xfinity Voice phone service, and more.

The new retail store is staffed by knowledgeable consultants who are ready to answer questions and go in-depth on Comcast’s many products and services. In addition, the showroom also offers a self-service kiosk for quick bill pay and a new queuing system that makes the entire process more efficient and enjoyable, allowing customers the opportunity to explore and be entertained prior to speaking with a representative.
