The markets turned negative during the midday with Dow dropping 64 points to 18,126 as Greece and the Eurozone have yet to reach a deal one day before a debt payment from Greece is due to the International Monetary Fund. Nasdaq held steady at 5,003.
On the upside
On Assignment (NYSE: ASGN) will pay approximately $570 million to acquire privately held Creative Circle.
Nuverra Environmental Solutions (NYSE: NES) narrowed first quarter losses more than expected.
Clean Diesel Technologies (Nasdaq: CDTI) will supply the New York City Department of Sanitation vehicles with the DuraFit diesel particulate filters.
On the downside
Wedbush downgraded Etsy (Nasdaq: ETSY) from a Neutral rating to an Underperform rating.
Shares of C&J Energy Services (NYSE: CJES) continued falling.
Comstock Resources (NYSE: CRK) fell to a loss for the first quarter.
In the broad market, declining issues outpaced advancers by a margin of nearly 5 to 4 on the NYSE while advancers edged out decliners 5 to 3 on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 fell 7 to 2109. Bitcoin added $3 to $243.
