Works by Basquiat, Calder, Chagall, Dalí, Francis, Haring, Lichtenstein, Miró, Picasso, Warhol and others
PRLog - June 17, 2015 - LAS VEGAS -- In honor of its 40th anniversary, America’s premiere gallery of fine art, Martin Lawrence Galleries, will debut an astounding art collection that includes seminal works by Basquiat, Bertho, Calder, Chagall, Dalí, Deyber, Erté, Francis, Fressinier, Hallam, Haring, Hofmann, Kondakova, Kostabi, Lalonde, Lichtenstein, Magritte, Mas, Miró, Muniz, Nicholls, Picasso, Renoir, Warhol and others.

The collection will be unveiled to select international collectors at an exclusive event, July 17-19, at the Galleries’ flagship Las Vegas Gallery at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace. At 26,000 square feet, it is one of the largest fine art galleries in the world and home to amazing works of art such as a complete suite of Marilyn’s by Andy Warhol, Rodin’s “The Thinker”, and the world’s largest Dalí painting.

Acclaimed artists Philippe Bertho, Robert Deyber, Franҫois Fressinier, Kerry Hallam, Douglas Hofmann, Liudmila Kondakova, René Lalonde, Felix Mas and others are among the weekend’s guests – a rare gathering of contemporary masters, many debuting new original work as part of the Anniversary Collection.

The works are on view to ticketed members of the public only on Saturday, July 18, from 7-11 PM at the 4th annual Art of The Party– an elegant evening celebrating 40 years of art and icons.  Highlights of this anticipated event (produced by Mikey Koffman – producer of LA Fashion Week) include experiential performances, art inspired fashion, live music and DJ, premium cocktails, gourmet food, and presentations and complimentary gifts from luxury sponsors including Mont Blanc (who will debut a new line of Warhol-inspired pens), award-winning California wines from Line 39, resort-ware by Vilebrequin, and on-site professional makeup styling by Sephora.  For tickets visit martinlawrence.com/artoftheparty

Additionally, Martin Lawrence is partnering with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® and will donate 100% of the $25 ticket price, plus additional donations, to help defeat childhood cancer and other deadly diseases and fund cures that save children’s lives.  Martin Lawrence is committed to using art for good and St. Jude joins a long list of benefiting organizations, among them the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Keep a Child Alive, Challenged Athletes Foundation, The Dallas Cowboys Women’s Association, JLE Foundation, Crohn's and Colitis Foundation of America, Greenwich Hospital, and the UMC Medical Trauma and Burn Center.

The remarkable art and festivities are merited:  40 years is no small feat in the ever-changing art business. Since opening, Martin Lawrence has transformed the burgeoning art scene, making world-class art accessible and at exceptional value. Whereas works by Warhol, Picasso, Chagall, Rembrandt and Erté were once only on display for a very few to enjoy, they are now exhibited daily at Martin Lawrence’s 10 U.S. Galleries - distinctive exhibition spaces designed for all art lovers to enjoy and purchase. In addition to the Masters, Martin Lawrence Galleries also offers exclusive limited edition works by renowned contemporary artists, making art affordable for all levels of collectors.
