HONG KONG, Nov 25, 2015 - (ACN Newswire) - C.banner International Holdings Limited, ("C.banner" or the "Company", together with its subsidiaries, the "Group", stock code: 1028), the leading retailer of mid-to-premium women's formal and casual footwear in the PRC, is pleased to announce that Company had completed the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Ludendo Enterprises UK Limited ("Ludendo UK"). Upon completion of the acquisition, Ludendo UK (which owns and operates leading toy retailer "Hamleys" ("Hamleys")) became a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. The company name of Ludendo UK will be changed to Hamleys Global Holdings Limited after completion.
The acquisition marks an important first step of the Company's global branding strategies and its business diversification development plan. Following the completion of the acquisition, the Company will actively explore areas of cooperation among the respective existing business of Hamleys and the Company with a view to achieving greater synergy among them and in turn enhance the Company's comprehensive strength.
