This is the nineteenth victory at the “WorldStar Awards”. The World Packaging Organization (WPO) has named the winners of the “2016 World Star Awards.” The jury selected UKRPLASTIC’s production of coffee packing for Nescafe «Espresso Gold» Barista Style.
KYIV, Ukraine - Dec. 4, 2015 - PRLog -- The World Packaging Organization (WPO) has named the winners of the “2016 World Star Awards.” The jury selected UKRPLASTIC’s production of coffee packing for Nescafe «Espresso Gold» Barista Style.
WPO President Thomas Schneider noted how packaging impacts the quality of life of so many people, saying, “It is important to promote the development of packaging technology, science and technology, support the idea of packaging and encourage professional growth.”
This year representatives of 35 countries competed in 11 categories with 293 samples. A necessary condition for participation in the international competition is a victory for the company in the national competition, so the jury was presented with the best packaging from these countries.
Industry experts, board members of WPO and representatives of 19 professional associations of packaging had studied the submitted samples for more than two months, evaluating them on their technological level, innovative solutions, the quality of workmanship, and original design.
“Victory in the competition is especially honorable in that it awarded the best world-class professionals. We are for the 19th time winning in an international competition and traditionally dedicate this victory to our partners and customers. Recall that this year UKRPLASTIC has received two major awards for “The Best of the Best Packaging” following the results of the international competition “Golden Cylinder Awards 2015” by the Gravure Association of the Americas (GAA), the top prize at the competition “Packaging Gravure Awards 2015” from the European Rotogravure Association (ERA), and has become one of the winners of the annual contest “2015 Print Awards” for the European Flexographic Industry Association (EFIA).
