Syneron Medical Ltd. (Nasdaq: ELOS) offered $65 million in stock to acquire rival Candela Corp. (Nasdaq: CLZR) to combine two medical laser equipment makers. Shares of Candela soared 62 cents to $2.50 while Syneron stock fell 86 cents to $8.88.
