Shares of Fannie Mae (NYSE: FNM) lost 9 cents to $1.16 and Freddie Mac (NYSE: FRE) fell 12 cents to $1.38 as investors locked in profits. The two mortgage giants surged after the government lifted financial assistance caps last week.
