Chordiant Software Inc. (Nasdaq: CHRD) agreed to be acquired by Pegasystems Inc. (Nasdaq: PEGA) in an all cash deal valued at approximately $161.5 million. Shares of Chordiant leaped $1.16 to $4.97 while Pegasystems stock climbed $1.96 to $38.79.
