Sensient Announces Preliminary Results of Annual Meeting

Sensient Technologies Corporation (NYSE: SXT; “Sensient”) today announced that preliminary results from today’s Annual Meeting indicate that shareholders have elected all of the Company’s nine director nominees. The Sensient nominees who were elected are: Hank Brown; Edward H. Cichurski; Dr. Fergus M. Clydesdale; James A. D. Croft; William V. Hickey; Kenneth P. Manning; Paul Manning; Dr. Elaine R. Wedral; and Essie Whitelaw. Final results will be published as promptly as practicable.

In other business conducted at the meeting, shareholders:

  • Ratified the selection of Ernst & Young LLP as the Company’s auditor for 2014;
  • Voted on an advisory basis against the compensation for Sensient’s named executive officers; and
  • Approved Sensient’s Incentive Compensation Plan for Elected Corporate Officers.

IVS Associates, Inc. (“IVS”), the independent inspector of elections, is tabulating the votes cast at the meeting. The Company will announce final results once IVS has certified as to its final tabulation report.
