Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Expanding Upholstered Furniture Manufacturing Operations at Three Facilities Across the U.S.

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (NYSE: WSM) today announced it is expanding its upholstered furniture manufacturing at Sutter Street Manufacturing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. Over 500 full time positions will be added at facilities in North Carolina, Texas and California.

Sutter Street Manufacturing is creating over 500 new full-time positions, in addition to the over 500 current full-time and seasonal associates. The new positions are planned to be filled by early 2015.

Established in 2007, Sutter Street Manufacturing is Williams-Sonoma, Inc.’s first wholly-owned and operated facility dedicated to the craft of furniture manufacturing. Over 100 different styles of upholstered furniture are produced by skilled craftsman for Williams-Sonoma, Inc. brands, including Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, PBteen, West Elm and Williams-Sonoma Home.

Sutter Street Manufacturing is currently accepting applications for production positions in Upholstery, Sewing and Frame Assembly categories.
