Aeropostale (NYSE: ARO) widened losses more than expected for the first quarter to 98 cents per share from 16 cents per share in the year ago period and forecast a greater than expected loss for the second quarter prompting a downgrade. Shares of the teen apparel retailer tumbled $1.11 to close at $3.41.
