Atlas Energy to be acquired

Resources will buy Atlas Energy LP (NYSE: ATLS) and Atlas Pipeline
Partners in a deal valued at approximately $6 billion including the
assumption of debt. Shares of Atlas Energy leaped $6.71 to $39.12.
