Digital River extends deadline for Microsoft

Digital River Inc. (Nasdaq: DRIV) extended the deadline for Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) to decide whether Microsoft would extend the expiration date of the Microsoft Operations Digital Distribution Agreement between the two companies. Shares of Digital River plunged $5.92 to $19.59 while Microsoft stock slipped 86 cents to $47.56.
