Vitesse Semiconductor Corp. (Nasdaq: VTSS) will be acquired by Microsemi Corp. (Nasdaq: MSCC) for a premium of $5.28 per share in cash. Shares of Vitesse leaped $1.44 to $5.33 while Microsemi stock rose 31 cents to $34.16.
