Stage Stores (NYSE: SSI) disappointed with sharply lower fourth quarter earnings of 71 cents per diluted share compared with $1.36 per diluted share in the year ago period that fell short of expectations and forecast full year results below estimates sending the stock price plummeting $1.90 to close at $7.01.
