PR Log - May 04, 2012 - “Extended Service Contract now includes this valuable feature.”
OLYMPIA, WA—May 4, 2012 – PACS provider nuCore Solutions announces today that it will include remote DICOM backup service at no additional cost to new clients. “This innovative campaign is just another way nuCore is setting itself apart from all other PACS providers” states nuCore’s owner, Grant Russell. “We prefer to lead and set trends that are the results of listening to our distributors and clients” Russell continues.
Taking the lead on value added features is nothing new but nuCore sets the new standard by offering this important feature as part of their standard Extended Service Contract. While the first year coverage is typically included in the price of the system, most company’s limit the ‘size’ of their remote service or charge a premium once a size limit has been reached. NuCore believes this is counter-productive and builds walls between the client and the manufacturer. “Our consideration is for the client” states Greg Perry, General Manager at nuCore. “So often, the client is taken advantage of when it comes to important system upgrades. We believe that our clients that decide to maintain extended service contracts should not have to pay extra for ‘normal’ system conveniences. We also believe this will build stronger long term relationships with our clients as well.”
Perry went on to explain that regardless of the facility’s annual image volume, nuCore will not charge additional fees for this important backup service. This will continue for as long as the site maintains an uninterrupted extended service contract. Grant Russell adds, “Facility managers and site owners can now concentrate more on improving patient care and let us worry more about improving their PACS.”
