ZTO Express (NYSE: ZTO) will increase its delivery prices.
DXC Technology (NYSE: DXC) will combine its U.S. Public Sectors business with Vencore Holding and KeyPoint Government Solutions to form a separate, publicly traded company.
On the downside
Blackhawk Network Holdings (Nasdaq: HAWK) widened losses for the third quarter and lowered its full year outlook.
A shoplifter stole $2,800 worth of merchandise from an Ulta Beauty (Nasdaq: ULTA) store.
Kirkland Lake Gold (NYSE: KL) reported strong third quarter operating results but the stock price fell.
In the broad market, advancing issues outpaced decliners by a margin of nearly 9 to 8 on the NYSE while decliners barely edged out advancers by a slim margin on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 slipped 3 points to 2,552. Bitcoin leaped $400 to $5,195.
