The Doctors Company Celebrates the Tribute Plan Fifth Anniversary

The Doctors Company, the nation’s largest insurer of physician and surgeon medical liability, is celebrating the five-year anniversary of the Tribute® Plan, an unrivaled benefit that provides members with a significant financial reward when they retire from the practice of medicine. The Tribute Plan underscores The Doctors Company’s mission to advance, protect, and reward the practice of good medicine.

The Tribute Plan rewards members for their loyalty to The Doctors Company and for their dedication to superior patient care. Today, over 1,300 Tribute awards have been distributed, and 22,700 members have qualified for a Tribute award when they retire from the practice of medicine. By the end of 2012, approximately $550 million will have been earmarked for Tribute awards.

Member satisfaction and loyalty is at an all-time high, with 96 percent of members stating they are likely to stay with The Doctors Company for their entire careers and 92 percent of members saying they would recommend The Doctors Company to their colleagues.
