How Soon is Now: Dow Drops 130 Points as Bottom Remains Elusive

Stocks look set to test their 2014 lows as concerns around global economic conditions continue to roil markets . It's the kind of trading that makes you want to shut your eyes and wait until it's over. The S&P 500 has fallen 0.9% to 1,836.79 at 9:34 a.m. today, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average has declined 131.46 points, or 0.8% to 15,895.59. The Nasdaq Composite has dropped 1.3% to 4,230.00. The S&P 500 looks set to test the April 11, 2014 low of 1,1815.69, and if that breaks, then the next support level would be at the Feb. 3, 204 low of 1,741.89.
