Analysts at Dahlman Rose on Monday released some bullish commentary on several major stocks in the agricultural products sector.

The firm lifted its sector view from “Cautious” to “Attractive,” citing near-term catalysts and attractive valuations. Dahlman said “if the crop is large, the shares seem to have limited downside and the likelihood of a move upward by late summer is driven by Fall application. The alternative scenario of a crop reduced by weather issues is likely to result in even greater share outperformance.”

As a result, the analyst made the following moves:

• Potash Corp. (POT) upgraded from “Sell” to “Buy” with a $49 price target (21% upside).
• CF Industries (CF) upgraded from “Sell” to “Buy” with a $200 price target (12.5% upside).
• Agrium Inc. (AGU) upgraded from “Hold” to “Buy” with a $98 price target (12% upside)
• Mosaic (MOS) upgraded from “Hold” to “Buy” with $60 price target (19% upside).
