Genesco Inc. (NYSE: GCO) disappointed with sharply lower first quarter earnings of 5 cents per diluted share compared with 50 cents per diluted share in the year ago period that missed expectations. Shares of the footwear and apparel retailer plummeted $10.15 to close at $34.40.
