Pacific Sunwear (Nasdaq: PSUN) reported a wider than expected loss for the first quarter as revenue fell.
Greif (NYSE: GEF) cut its full year earnings guidance.
Investors continued to lock in profits on PlasmaTech Biopharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: PTBI).
In the broad market, declining issues outpaced advancers by a margin of nearly 5 to 2 on the NYSE and by more than 2 to 1 on Nasdaq. The broader S&P 500 fell 7 points to 2112. Bitcoin slipped $1 to $236.
