Medivation Inc. (Nasdaq: MDVN) will be acquired by Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE) in a deal valued at approximately $14 billion. Shares of Medivation leaped $13.26 to close at $80.42 while Pfizer stock eased 14 cents to close at $34.84.
