Crystal Yau joins theatrical distribution company Café Pictures to promote flagship movie, “10 Days In A Madhouse – The Nellie Bly Story.”Former agency assistant publicist Crystal Yau joins the Café Pictures team to promote upcoming biopic “10 Days In A Madhouse: The Nellie Bly Story”.Café Pictures welcomes publicist and Social Media manager Crystal Yau to promote their upcoming historical film 10 Days In A Madhouse: The Nellie Bly Story. Formerly an assistant publicist at boutique agency Katz Public Relations, Crystal brings excellent personal publicity experience to the company. While at Katz PR, she worked on celebrity accounts including Awkward’s Jillian Rose Reed and Nikki DeLoach, Dolphin Tale and Dolphin Tale 2’s leading actor Nathan Gamble, and All My Children’s Alicia Minshew, who portrayed Kendall Hart on the show for nine years running. Crystal has also worked on the publicity campaign for several musicians including The Pilot Kids, who are currently working with Grammy-award winning songwriters and producers on their debut album.

“10 Days In A Madhouse” recently screened at Cannes Film Festival and was a massive success. It will be released in U.S. theaters on November 20th with hopes of becoming a contender for The Golden Globes and The Academy Awards. The historic adaptation of Bly’s 1887 exposé on Blackwell’s Island Insane Asylum stars newcomer Caroline Barry, Christopher Lambert (Highlander, Mortal Kombat, and upcoming Cohen Brothers film Hail Caesar!), Kelly Le Brock (The Woman In Red, Weird Science) and Julia Chantrey (Mean Girls, Mama).
