Cancer center CEO leaves Merck board after disclosure scandal

Craig Thompson, chief executive of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, resigned from the board of drugmaker Merck & Co Inc on Tuesday, after questions about the cancer center's ties to the pharmaceutical industry.
