New Report on Customer Centric Bars in Seattle Compiled by National Press Distributors

Seattle has always had a thriving nightlife, and National Press Distributers recently conducted a survey to find out which bars are the most popular with local residents. By trawling through hundreds of genuine customer reviews, National Press Distributers has come up with a shortlist of the most customer-centric bars in Seattle.

Ranking first is Sam’s Tavern (http://samstavernseattle.com/). Located just outside of downtown, they serve up a delectable range of food and drink which has netted them several awards. A poll for Seattle Weekly found that Sam’s serves up the most popular Bloody Mary in town, and they ranked highly on TheDailyMeal.com’s list of the 101 best burgers in America. With two Seattle locations, both with an extremely friendly and relaxed atmosphere, customers will always feel welcome at Sam’s Tavern.

CinfullySimple.com says, “Sam’s Tavern served up one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten! And the fries were spot on, thick, fresh and hot! And, to top off the entire evening the Bloody Mary was perfectly spicy and amazing.”

Another popular spot with locals is Bathtub Gin & Co. The bar has been decorated in the style of a 1920’s speakeasy, transporting customers back in time to a bygone age. The entrance is tucked away down an alley, for an authentic speakeasy experience. Gin is making a big comeback amongst discerning drinkers, and this bar has a fantastic selection for customers to choose from.

Sam B. on Facebook.com says, “Pretty cool place with a unique vibe. This place is a hidden local gem hidden away from all the tourist traffic- we were lucky to find it during our North West travels. Great cocktails!”

Polar Bar is another Seattle bar with a unique décor, this time in a turn-of-the-century style. Mimicking the look of the original gentlemen’s club that opened on the site back in 1917, the bartender is even dressed in a white tuxedo. A billiards table and brick fireplace, along with a gentle jazz soundtrack, make this a relaxing place to sit and enjoy a cocktail.

On Yelp, Randy O. said, “A place for a mixed drink in a dark old school atmosphere. Not the place to be if you are a bourbon or single malt scotch person looking for something new. But the place is good at what it aspires to be. I ordered an Arctic Club Old Fashioned. $12. Rye, Cointreau, Sloe Gin, Sugar, Bitters and Orange Zest. That's a lot of stuff! But the mixologist did her job well and the beverage was tasty.”

For those who prefer a more traditional styled bar, Beveridge Place Pub is a firm favorite among Seattle locals. They have possibly the largest selection of beers in the city, along with a rotating selection of craft ciders, too. While they don’t sell food, they make up for this by being one of the few pet-friendly bars in Seattle.

On Yelp, Mike P. writes, “Awesome beer selection and special events. The place can get pretty crowded so get there before 8pm (on weekends). I like that they allow dogs and ask customers to leave if their dog starts barking. The only drawback is limited parking but it's set in a neighborhood area so you may have to walk a little.”

Lastly, the Unicorn bar brings a carnival atmosphere to Seattle’s bar scene, complete with an arcade and stage. Famously featured in Macklemore’s “Thrift Shop” music video, the pinball machines are as popular as the drinks here.

WineBooksWanderlust on Tripadvisor writes, “Don't be put off by the crazy taxidermy...this bar is the perfect combination of strong drinks and entertainment. Head down into the basement...there's a second bar and an old-school arcade. There's a lot of seating and plenty of friendly staff to help keep the drinks flowing.”
