Gilead Science Inc.'s (Nasdaq: GILD) announcement that it was cutting the price of
its hepatitis C treatments sent shares of Achillion Pharmaceuticals Inc. (Nasdaq:
ACHN) tumbling. Shares of Gilead plunged $8.75 to close at $98.43 while Achillion Pharma stock tumbled $2.45 to close at $12.05.
