Horizon
Pharma (Nasdaq: HZNP) offered to acquire DepoMed Inc. (Nasdaq: DEPO) in an
all stock deal valued at approximately $3 billion including the
assumption of debt. Shares of Horizon lost 81 cents to $33.73 while DepoMed stock leaped $7.51 to $28.15.
