“Jean brings extensive experience working with the world’s leading companies and industries. Her track record and long-standing commitment to effective corporate communications programs will be important assets as we drive innovation, growth and Exelon’s leadership in shaping our nation’s sustainable energy future,” said Chris Crane, president and CEO, Exelon.

“I am delighted to welcome a leader of Jean’s caliber to Exelon’s dynamic communications and marketing team and look forward to her many contributions as we reshape our corporate programs," FitzPatrick said.

Medina holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Eastern Illinois University.

Medina most recently served as senior vice president of communications at Airlines for America (A4A), the industry trade organization for the leading U.S. airlines. Prior to A4A, Medina was managing director for external communications for United Airlines.

Her work on advocacy campaigns on behalf of the airline industry and its customers has been recognized with awards from PR Week, SABRE and PRNews.
