Fashion for Education in the Time of Crisis

Two women entrepreneurs are taking action as the global health crisis impacts education negatively worldwide

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

DENVER, COLORADO July 30, 2020 — Lula Kiah, founder of Style Innovators, Inc., a corporate image consulting firm with offices in New York, Denver, and Chicago, has given advisory services to thousands of people across five continents.  Maria Andretta, owner of Wyohflowers, an ethical fashion online shop, is passionate about breaking the cycle of poverty through social entrepreneurship.  Together, these lady entrepreneurs are collaborating to organize Fashion For Education, a solidarity project that aims to help poor girl scholars return to school under the current norms brought about by global health concerns.  Through an online fashion masterclass and the sale of embroidered custom aprons, Fashion For Education aims to make an impact and help poor girls return to school this coming school year.

Rezyl Lebosada is one among 10 siblings.  Her father, a trash collector, cannot afford to send her to school.  The family can barely even afford to have a meal a day.  Rezyl is fortunate to be one of the 550 scholars of the Foundation for Professional Training, Inc. (FPTI) taking an Associates Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Services.  During these difficult times, however, FPTI has to suspend the traditional classes, on the directive of the Philippine government.  All schools will have to offer the alternative way of education, that is, through online learning programs.  Without the necessary gadgets or internet access, however, students living in extreme poverty such as Rezyl, cannot continue with their education.  Without any help or support, these poor students will not complete school.  Fashion for Education aims to raise funds to help these students acquire the necessary gadget and internet access for online learning.

There are three ways you can support this cause.

Join “How to Have Effortless 365 Style,” on August 19 (Wednesday) at 600 PM CST.  Through this Master Fashion Class, you will discover your style personality and learn, among other things, how to properly accessorize, balance your lifestyle with your wardrobe and the best fabrics to use

for each season.  Early birds can avail of a discounted ticket price of $27.50 if you register by July 31, 2020.  Ticket price will be $35.00 thereafter.

If you are interested in easy personalized styling tricks for every season and the classic combinations that will make you look chic at any age, you could earn a free professional style consultation with Lula Kiah.  Just sponsor a scholar for a minimum of $300.  Don’t lose out on this great offer!

Finally, you could support this solidarity project by purchasing Wyohflowers’ handmade embroidered custom aprons for as little as $35.  Aside from being fun and stylish in designs, these embroidered custom fashion aprons are lovingly handmade by poor artisans in a community in the Philippines known for their extraordinary craftmanship.
