CBOE Names Five New Officers

CHICAGO, March 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The Chicago Board Options Exchange, Incorporated® (CBOE®) announced today that it has added five new officers to its management team: Stephanie Klein, Chief Marketing Officer; Jennifer Lamie, Chief Regulatory Advisor; Stephanie Marrin Lara, Deputy Chief Regulatory Officer; Jordan Naylor, Vice President, Systems Development; and Steve Sinclair, Vice President, Systems Development.

Stephanie Klein
As Chief Marketing Officer, Stephanie Klein will build a holistic brand marketing strategy for the company to educate and engage a broadening global customer base around CBOE's position as the premier destination for options and volatility trading resources. She will utilize the full spectrum of traditional and innovative marketing channels, including print, digital, mobile and social media, across multiple platforms -- leveraging investor education content delivered through the world-renowned Options Institute.

Prior to joining CBOE, Klein held marketing leadership positions over the past decade in wealth management and institutional channels at Northern Trust, most recently as Chief Marketing Officer, Asset Management.  Before Northern Trust, Klein ran her own brand strategy consulting firm, Klein Consulting, and held positions at Leo Burnett, Alberto-Culver and Coca-Cola.  Klein holds an MBA in marketing from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a bachelor's degree in psychology from Duke University.

Jennifer Lamie|
As Chief Regulatory Advisor, Jennifer Lamie will advise CBOE's Regulatory Services Division on Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and exchange rules, and rule changes. Lamie also will oversee the division's interpretations and guidance program for trading permit holders. She will report directly to the Chief Regulatory Officer (CRO).

Lamie brings more than 17 years of industry experience, including 11 years at CBOE, and significant regulatory knowledge to the role. Prior to joining the regulatory team, Lamie served as assistant general counsel in CBOE's Legal Division. She also held assistant general counsel positions at the International Securities Exchange (ISE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSX). Lamie holds a J.D. from Indiana University and a bachelor's degree in accounting from Purdue University.

Stephanie Marrin Lara
As Deputy Chief Regulatory Officer, Stephanie Marrin Lara will oversee the surveillance, investigation, examination and technology aspects of CBOE and C2 regulatory functions, ensuring the integrity of the exchange's marketplace through the enforcement of CBOE, C2 and SEC rules and regulations. She will report directly to the CRO.

Marrin has more than 12 years of regulatory experience, including three years at CBOE. She also held regulatory positions at the National Stock Exchange (NSX) and, most recently, at the SEC. Marrin holds an MBA from DePaul University and a bachelor's degree in business finance from Illinois State University.

Jordan Naylor
As Vice President, Systems Development, Jordan Naylor will evaluate the potential use of third-party technologies, design enhancements to existing systems, and evaluate systems development processes and workflows.

Prior to joining CBOE, Naylor served as Chief Technology Officer for LiquidPoint LLC, where he led the design, development and operation of advanced options trading systems. These systems included market data ticker plants, algorithmic order-routing engines and front-end trading platforms. Naylor has worked in the options trading technology field for nearly 20 years, including with CBOE in various capacities. Naylor holds a bachelor's degree in finance and economics from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Steve Sinclair
As Vice President, Systems Development, Steve Sinclair will have a lead role in the development and improvement of trading technology. 

Sinclair is a nine-year veteran of CBOE with more than 16 years of industry experience.   In his most recent role at CBOE, as Director of Systems Development, Sinclair provided managerial and technical direction for the design and deployment of trading technology.  He holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada.
