AirTran Airways Flight Attendants Ratify Collective Bargaining Agreement

ORLANDO, Fla., April 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., (NYSE: AAI) announced today the successful ratification of a new collective bargaining agreement with its flight attendants. The agreement was overwhelmingly approved by 96 percent of voting members.

The agreement takes effect May 1, 2011, and provides for increased compensation, improved benefits and preservation of key service and reliability functions.
