Libbey Inc. Names Ginger Jones to Board of Directors

TOLEDO, Ohio, Aug. 20, 2013 /PRNewswire/ --  Libbey Inc. (NYSE MKT: LBY) today announced that Ginger Jones has joined its board of directors.

Jones is the senior vice president, chief financial officer of Plexus Corp (NASDAQ: PLXS), a global electronic, engineering and manufacturing services company where she has served in this role since 2007.  As CFO, Jones is responsible for all finance, treasury, investor relations and information technology functions.  She is a certified public accountant and holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Utah and a master's degree in Business Administration from the Ohio State University.

Jones was elected a director by the board upon the recommendation of its Nominating and Governance Committee.  With the addition of Jones, the Libbey board of directors now numbers ten members, of which eight are independent directors.
