Analyst Update: Financial and Operational Results, Operational Updates  and Appointments

U.S. stocks closed lower on Tuesday amid sharp bond market volatility. The NASDAQ Composite closed at 4,976.19, down 0.35%, the S&P 500 fell 0.29% to 2,099.12, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average finished the day 0.20% lower, at 18,068.23. European stocks fell sharply on Tuesday as heavy bond market sell-off flustered investors. Germany's DAX 30 slipped 1.72%, France's CAC 40 tumbled 1.06%, and the London's FTSE 100 closed 1.37% lower on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Asian markets were mixed on Tuesday amid concern over Greece's future in the euro zone and interest rate cut in China.

On April 30, 2015, Nielsen announced that Jonathan Stolper will be appointed as SVP and Managing Director of Nielsen Book, effective July 1, 2015. Jonathan Nowell, who is stepping down after 15 years as President of Nielsen Book, will be handing over the global leadership to Stolper. Stolper is currently SVP of Nielsen's U.S. Book business and will report to Howard Appelbaum, President of Nielsen Entertainment, whilst still continuing to be based out of New York.

SouFun Holdings Limited, the leading real estate Internet and mobile portal in China, plans to report its unaudited first quarter 2015 financial results on May 20, 2015. The Company's management team will also host a conference call to discuss the results on the same day.

On May 8, 2015, JD.com, Inc. announced its unaudited financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2015. The Company reported revenues of RMB36.6 billion for the quarter which was an increase of 62% YoY. According to the announcement, the Company's Annual active customer accounts increased by 90% to 105.2 million in the 12 months ended March 31, 2015 from 55.5 million on a Y-o-Y basis.

On May 7, 2015, Windstream Holdings, Inc. reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2015. The Company reported total revenues of $1.4 billion for the first quarter with its consumer broadband service generating $123 million in revenue and growing 2% YoY.

On May 8, 2015, Taiwan Semiconductor Mfg. Co. Ltd announced its net revenues for April 2015. The Company reported that its revenues on a consolidated basis stood at approximately NT$75.33 billion for April 2015, which shows an increase of 4.2% QoQ. On a year-on-year basis, however, the revenues increased by 21.7%.
