James A. Zingale, Former Executive Director of the Florida Department of Revenue, Joins Deloitte

WASHINGTON, June 30 /PRNewswire/ -- James A. Zingale, Ph.D., the former executive director of the Florida Department of Revenue (DOR), has joined Deloitte as a State Government industry advisor. In this new role, Zingale will serve as a key advisor for Deloitte's state revenue and finance transformation service offerings.

For more than eight years, Zingale served as the executive director of Florida DOR, where he served as a nationally recognized leader who continued the DOR's transition to a business-style management system and deployed state-of-the-art-technology to re-engineer DOR's operating processes. Zingale oversaw the DOR's $110 million Integrated Tax Administration System (SUNTAX), and delivered a 10-to-1 return on investment.

Most recently, Zingale served as the interim executive director of the Florida Agency for Enterprise Information Technology.

Additionally, Zingale was the first legislative research director for the Florida Legislature Economic and Demographic Research Committee.
