ANDERSON, Ind., Feb. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Verizon Wireless, the wireless company with the highest customer loyalty, has activated a new cell site in Anderson, Ind., which enables more customers to use their wireless phones concurrently to make calls; send and receive email and text, picture and video messages; access the Internet; view high-quality videos; and download music, games and ringtones, while enjoying clearer reception and fewer dropped calls.
The new cell site, which is equipped with a permanent backup generator for times of emergency, is located near the intersection of Broadway Street and Grand Avenue in downtown Anderson. It improves coverage in the downtown area bounded by Cross Street to the north, State Road 32 to the south, State Road 9 to the east and Raible Avenue to the west.

This network improvement is part of Verizon Wireless' continual effort to expand coverage, improve capacity and enhance the quality of its wireless voice and data network in Indiana and throughout the country.
