Veteran Corporate Governance and Securities Lawyer Cam Hoang Returns To Dorsey & Whitney

International law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP announced today that Cam Hoang has rejoined the Firm’s Corporate Group as a Partner in Minneapolis.

For the last 10 years, Ms. Hoang has been Senior Counsel and Assistant Secretary at General Mills, Inc., where she advised senior management on corporate governance and compensation disclosure issues, worked on SEC compliance and reporting, had responsibility for proxy materials and annual meetings, assisted on securities offerings and corporate secretary matters and provided support for the employee benefits group on executive compensation, equity plans and related disclosures. She also worked on M&A transactions, risk management, General Mills Foundation matters and general corporate and commercial matters. Before joining General Mills in 2005, Ms. Hoang was an associate for five years in the Dorsey Corporate Group in Minneapolis.

Ms. Hoang has a J.D. degree from Harvard Law School and a BA degree from Yale University. During her tenure at General Mills, she served as president of the Twin Cities chapter of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals and also served on that organization’s national board. Ms. Hoang currently serves on the boards of the Mill City Credit Union and Minneapolis Community and Technical College.
