A Tool For Passionate Web/Game Developers To Teach Them How To Create Their Own

Manchester, UK – Feb 23, 2015 – Gregory James Ellis, a self-taught web developer from Manchester, has developed a new and exciting game called “Swipe to Kill.” However, it is more than just a game. It is also a tool for aspiring web/game developers can use to build their own version, which can be sold on the app store. Development of “Swipe to Kill” is almost finished. Gregory has announced the launch of the Kickstarter campaign. Funds raised will help complete the game and have it published on the app store.  The goal is to raise £6,000 goal by March 20th, 2015.

As a passionate computer game player, James decided to learn how to develop his own game. He took courses and taught himself everything about website creation, apps, coding, and much more on TeamTreeHouse.com. After finishing the course, he decided to build his own game as a test. The results were the great game “Swipe to Kill”.

This is a 3-star battle game with a mix between the cute, yet mind-challenging game, “Candy Crush”, and goblins and swords. It will be available to play on the web, iPhone, and Android. There will be a minimum of forty-eight levels with an engaging story mode and professional music. Users can see how they rank globally and share their scores with friends on social media. People can play and collect gold; upgrade weapons, and uses strategies to beat the enemy.

The design was built using easy web languages such as HTML, CSS, and JS so users simply need a bit of knowledge in web development to understand. James also wanted to offer a step-by-step tutorial on how to develop the site to other curious individuals and aspiring developers. The simple tutorial is in PDF and Word. Individuals will have access to game assets and codes, and customization tools to add images and sound. Now people who enjoy playing the game, while having the ability and knowledge to create one of their own!

Funds from the Kickstarter campaign will go to completing the game and tutorial, along with publishing the game to iTunes and Google Play. This is a unique game that appeals to the game lovers, but is also a solution that will make learning web development much easier and interactive. In the gaming world, there has yet to be something even close to this and it is exciting that there now is an option to satisfy both needs.

Be part of this innovative change today and show support by clicking here. Any contribution will make a difference. If the campaign is not reached, this will delay the project from finishing. There are exclusive Kickstarter rewards, which range from free tutorials of the game, the game itself, and special packages.
