Manassas, VA – On April 6 2015, Ralph O’Rourke launched a Kickstarter campaign for Fae Elements, a new collection of USPCC Bicycle Playing Cards. Dark, Magical, Mystique, or Seductive, this fresh and vibrant up-and-coming Kickstarter is hitting the site in a sensational way.
“Fae Elements Playing Cards brings the age-old battle between light and dark, good and evil, Seelie and Unseelie, to the surface. The Seelie and Unseelie have worked together to eradicate the human race, but must now battle one another for control of the New World,” the creator explains, “As war wages on between the Seelie and Unseelie, both good and bad, fight for supremacy: Spring and Summer against Autumn and Winter. Will good or evil prevail? Which side will you choose?”
This Kickstarter campaign is raising funds for two playing card decks – Seelie and Unseelie. The term Seelie means ‘blessed’ or ‘holy’, and their court is inhabited by Spring and Summer Fae. Unseelie, on the other hand, are ‘unholy’ or ‘unblessed’. This court consists of Autumn and Winter Fae. Each of these card decks is specially designed to capture the essence of the Fae they represent, which is sure to make them a favorite for players and collectors alike.
“All cards feature incredibly illustrated and rendered images that include fierce and sexy queens to intriguing and riveting jokers; which will force your eyes to be fixated and obsessed,” says O’Rourke, “Each pip will blow you away with its provocative creativity. These decks are Bicycle® branded USPCC printed playing cards.”
