Horizon Pharma (Nasdaq: HZNP) offered a premium of approximately $800 million in cash to acquire Raptor Pharmaceuticals Corp. (Nasdaq: RPTP). Shares of Horizon Pharma gained $1.63 to close at $18.89 while Raptor Pharmaceuticals stock soared $1.53 to close at $8.98.
