Airline Stocks Rise Over Possible Recovery In 2010

Morgan Stanley analyst William Greene expects the airline industry to recover in 2010 with increases in revenue per available seat mile as costs per available seat mile declines. Shares of United Air Lines (Nasdaq: UAUA) gained $1.11 to close at $13.91, Delta Air Lines (NYSE: DAL) rose 88 cents to close at $12.10 and US Airways (NYSE: LCC) added 54 cents to close at $5.31.
