Microsoft Corp.'s (Nasdaq: MSFT) appeal of a verdict that the company infringed on Alcatel-Lucent's (NYSE: ALU) patent was rejected by the Supreme Court. Shares of Microsoft fell 57 cents to $26.27 while Alcatel-Lucent stock eased 3 cents to close at $2.43.
