Apple’s Jobs takes symbolic salary; COO gets raise

A regulatory filing shows Steve Jobs, the iconic chief executive of Apple, again received a yearly salary of $1, while the company’s No. 2 executive got a 12.5% raise. Apple also comes out against a shareholder proposal that would spell out CEO succession plans.
