Fourth quarter earnings tumbled for Western Digital (NYSE: WDC) but the results beat analyst expectations by a wide margin.
Cepheid (Nasdaq: CPHD) reversed year ago losses to post a better than expected profit for the second quarter.
YRC Worldwide (Nasdaq: YRCW) widened second quarter losses and announced the retirement of chief executive Bill Zollers.
Fourth quarter earnings dropped for Ruby Tuesday (NYSE: RT) as expenses climbed and the casual restaurant operator forecast first quarter results well below analyst expectations.
C. R. Bard (NYSE: BCR) blamed a litigation charge for swinging to a second quarter loss.
