Rustici Software Wins Big at the Nashville Technology Council Awards

Rustici Software took home Company of the Year and Marketing Innovator of the Year at the 6th annual Nashville Technology Council (NTC) Awards.

Held at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum in downtown Nashville, the NTC awards show is the largest tech-centered awards show in Nashville, which according to Fortune Magazine, has the second fastest growing tech community in the nation.

The most prestigious award of the evening was the Company of the Year award, which Mike Rustici and 6 Rustici Software employees accepted at the end of the ceremony.

“From the very beginning, our company has been all about attracting and retaining top talent, and giving them a place they want to be — myself included. We give great people with big personalities the freedom to be themselves. We get out of their way and let them have the big ideas,” said Mike Rustici.

Other finalists for Company of the Year were Digital Reasoning and Medalogix.

The Marketing Innovator of the Year Award went to Rustici Software employee Jeffrey Horne.

Jeffrey Horne said, “My role is to take these difficult tech concepts and portray them in a way that’s easy for people to understand. When someone is just going to be on a webpage for 10 seconds, or even just 5 seconds, it’s important to simplify concepts enough so that people actually stay around and engage with your product.”

Other Marketing Innovator of the Year finalists were Erin Desman, United Structural Systems, and Anne McGraw, Nissan North America, Inc.
