The Statue of Responsibility will be a monument for the ages direct to the soul of men and women of Liberty.
The event will be held on March 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. CST at the Dallas Texas Arboretum. It will be open to the public and registration will be required.

The vision of Viktor Frankl, a holocaust survivor who published the book “Man’s Search for Meaning,” a book known by many as in the top most influential books in the world. Published in 1946. “I recommend that the Statue of Liberty on the East Coast be supplemented by a Statue of Responsibility on the West Coast.” - Victor Frankl.
Most know a line from Eleanor Roosevelt “Freedom makes a huge requirement of every human being. With freedom comes responsibility. For the person who is unwilling to grow up, the person who does not want to carry his own weight, this is a frightening prospect.” Much is said about freedom and we hear about it in the public forums, but not much is said for the responsibility in its stewardship. Responsibility as a companion to Freedom has taken a back seat so to speak as infringing on rights.
Frankl wrote these words “Freedom, however, is not the last word. Freedom is only part of the story and half of the truth. Dr. Frankl and a small group of individuals got together to discuss how to make this dream a reality, to bring into life and create the statue. The group of individuals included Dr. James Newman, Dr. Stephen R. Covey and Kevin Hall. In 1997, Gary Lee Price was commissioned to design and create the Statue. In 2004 a prototype was completed by Gary and presented to Elly Frankl. Filled with emotion Gary was invited to enter the private study of Viktor while there in Austria. From that moment on Gary knew he had to complete the project.
Well known for his bronze sculptures, thousands of his work are in the hands of pubic and private collections throughout the world today. a Gary Lee Price sculptures capture the depths of the human spirit and the essence of a life’s journey. No wonder he was chosen for the statue of responsibility project.
