Pineapple Fabrics Announces August Precut Fabric Outlet Sale and Creativity Seminar

Triad fiber artist Vickie Clontz to debut new pattern and discuss creative process featuring the latest Pineapple pack of precut fabric

ARCHDALE, NC, August 25, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Archdale -based Pineapple Fabrics, an e-commerce business offering a wide range of precut fabric, packs, and fabric by the yard, has announced its Summer Outlet Sale for August 25 - August 27. "There will be huge discounts on 100% cotton fabric," says Dot Kimelman, Director of Merchandising. "We will offer fabrics from top brands such as Andover, Windham, Michael Miller, Riley Blake, Dear Stella, Timeless Treasures, FreeSpirit, Paintbrush Studio, Rowan, RJR and many more!"

The company is best known for its own proprietary brand of precut fabrics called Pineapple Packs. "We put together a pack of five complementary fabrics, in precut sizes familiar to our sewing and quilting community," says Kimelman. "Each Pineapple Pack includes your choice of a free pattern so you can quickly complete a project and move on to the next one!"

A highlight of the three-day sale will be a seminar/lecture presented by fiber artist Vickie Clontz. The seminar, "How to Use Pineapple Packs to Expand Your Creativity," will last approximately one hour and will be presented on August 26 and 27 at 10:00 a.m. Clontz, who began sewing at the age of 5, sells patterns for simple-to-make crafts through her company, Annie's Keepsakes. Clontz will debut her new "Rosie Posie Placemats" pattern that can be used with one of the Pineapple Packs and explain variations for it.

The free one-hour presentation will provide great tips for using precuts while talking about the creative process. All attendees will receive a free "Rosie Posie Placemats" pattern sheet. The Summer Outlet Sale will be held at the Pineapple Fabrics PrePack Shop, 505 Aztec Drive, Archdale NC 27263. Hours are 9am - 5pm on August 25 and 26, and 9am-4pm on August 27.
