The Legendary Hand Game Rock-Paper-Scissors Is Now an All-Out-War Comic Book Series

New comic book publisher Zelpha Comics is transforming the well-known hand game Rock Paper Scissors into an all-out planetary war featuring anthropomorphic versions of the famous hand gestures.

TORONTO, ON, August 26, 2016 /24-7PressRelease/ -- It is one of the few games almost everyone on earth knows how to play. The famous Rock Paper Scissors hand battle commonly used to quickly solve friendly disputes is now a comic book featuring living renditions of each element.

Published by newcomer Zelpha Comics Ltd., Paper Rock Scissors N' Stuff Wars is a one-shot black-and-white artwork 500-print special edition to be launched at Toronto's Fan Expo comic con in September. The one-shot features chapter one from a five chapter graphic novel slated for a spring 2017 release.

Paper Rock Scissors N' Stuff Wars features Paper, Rock and Scissors as living beings with their own kingdoms on the distant planet Syferion. For centuries, each kingdom assumed they were alone and superior on the planet - that is until the Scissors' Metallic Empire discovered Paper's Flatopia kingdom and viciously conquered its peaceful inhabitants. Now a small band of ragtag Paper warriors must find other kingdoms to help them defeat the bloodthirsty Scissors scourge.

Taking the already over-the-top concept of Paper, Rock and Scissors as living beings with families, armies and emotions to an even crazier level, the story also introduces new living elements like Sand, Water, Plastic, Anvils and Glue into the mix. The result is a planetary war unlike anything comic fans have seen before.

Paper Rock Scissors N' Stuff Wars is the brainchild of Zelpha Comics' founder Luanga Lue Nuwame. Nuwame is best known as You Tube's award-winning cardboard crafting artist The Homemade Game Guru.

With artwork from Washington State-based artist George Leon and hypnotizing cover art by Mississauga-based artist Daniel Wong, Nuwame hopes this story will captivate readers and fans of the original game. Nuwame uses numerous elements from current international news cycles in the creation of the complete graphic novel's story. The ambition is to make the fictional conflict relatable and poignant.

Zelpha Comics also publishes a second comic book called The Adventures of Little Petalianne. This title is an ongoing series about a group of fun-loving forest sprites, which is aimed at young female readers ages 6 and up. The Adventures of Little Petalianne is a large 4-page tabloid insert that will be sold directly to consumers as well as solicited to newspapers across North America.

Paper Rock Scissors N' Stuff Wars and The Adventures of Little Petalianne will officially debut at Toronto's Fan Expo Comic Con from September 1st to 4th. Copies are also available for worldwide purchase on eBay and on the company's website www.zelphacomics.com.
