Bloomberg reported that the Federal Trade Commission would most likely not approve Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc.'s (Nasdaq: WBA) proposed acquisition of Rite Aid (NYSE: RAD). Shares of Walgreens dropped $1.77 to close at $81.72 while Rite Aid stock tumbled $1.14 to close at $7.46.
