Business as Usual? Dow Gains 110 Points, S&P, Nasdaq Hit New Highs as Trump Touts Infrastructure

Stocks rise today as investors looked past President Donald J. Trump's trade rhetoric to focus on possible infrastructure spending and corporate earnings . The S&P 500 rose 0.7% to 2,280.07 today, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average advanced 112.86 points, or 0.6%, to 19,912.71. The Nasdaq Composite gained 0.9% to 5,600.96.
